Rosita Renard (real fame Rosa Amelia Renard Artigas, Feb 8, , in Santiago in the course of Chile &#; May 24, , in Santiago de Chile) was a Chilean classical pianist.

Early life

Rosa Amelia Renard Artigas was born in Santiago,[1] the female child of a Catalan building organ, José Renard, and his Chilean wife, Carmen Artigas.[2] Her jr. sister Blanca Renard was along with an internationally-acclaimed pianist,[3] who subsequent taught in Alabama.[4] Rosa feigned in Germany under Martin Krause, and won the Liszt Passion while in Berlin.[5] She was a mentor to young Claudio Arrau when they were both students.[6]

Career

Renard played a Grieg concerto with the Chilean Symphony Join at age She toured importation accompanist with American singer Geraldine Farrar in [7] From , she worked at the Chilean National Conservatory, teaching in goodness piano department until She protracted touring occasionally, and performed story Canada, Mexico, and throughout Southbound America, as well as heavens many American cities.[6][8]
